Galia Mango is the Jordanian-Lebanese designer behind the Galia Mango and Red Lipstick fashion labels.

After attending the University of Chicago and going on to study fashion design at Istituto Marangoni, Galia Mango returned to Jordan to begin her career. In 2007, Galia opened her atelier in Amman designing luxurious haute couture evening gowns.

Soon after this Galia launched her prêt- à -porter line, Red Lipstick, becoming one of the first local designers to produce full ready-to-wear collections and garnering extensive media coverage in Jordan.

By her second collection the Jordanian press pronounced her label “a new direction for Jordanian fashion” and her ready-to-wear clothing “a new genre of Jordanian prêt- à -porter” with the designer herself being dubbed as the person who would make Jordan “stand out on the international fashion map”.

Fusing her western education and modern aesthetic with hints of her cultural heritage, Galia Mango's hand sewn and hand beaded garments are unique. The designer experiments with luxurious fabrics, cuts, embellishments and interesting details to create clothing that is beautiful, sophisticated, feminine and timeless.

With magazines, newspapers and TV programs from all over the region featuring the designer and her clothes, Galia Mango is considered one of Jordan’s leading fashion designers.

2011 is an exciting year of expansion for the company, with the first Red Lipstick free standing store opening in April, and the first accessories line due to be launched in Fall 2011.
